Connect a Google Business Profile to review software
Review software needs your permission to act for the right Google Business Profile. These checks help you avoid connecting the wrong account or location.
Check which Google account has access
Open your Business Profile with the Google account that manages the business. Google requires a verified profile before you can reply to reviews. An owner or manager can handle reviews; there is no need to share a colleague’s password. See Google’s review instructions.
If you have several accounts, note which one manages each location. If a location is missing in Google, fix that access before retrying the software connection.
Grant access on Google’s permission screen
In Auto-Reputatie, choose to connect Google, sign in with Google and read the requested access. Authorize the profile you want to manage. The app uses that permission to show the related locations and reviews; you do not type your Google password into Auto-Reputatie.
Google requires prior authorization when a service replies on a business’s behalf. Read the Business Profile API policies. Revoke access when you stop using a service.
Select locations and inspect your first reviews
After connecting, check the location names. For each one, review the tone, time zone and rules for each star rating. Open an existing review to confirm you are looking at the intended business. Start with manual approval if you want to learn what the drafts look like.
Missing a location? Check whether the selected Google account can manage it and whether the profile is verified. Do not add another business’s location just to complete a list.
Test a draft before enabling automatic posting
Check a draft for factual accuracy, tone, language and contact details. Then decide per rating whether to approve replies yourself or allow automatic posting. These 1, 3 and 5-star examples can help.
